My sister and I reminisced fondly this morning upon our holiday fights of yore: fighting over the chocolate advent calendar, fighting over who put which favorite ornament on the tree, and my favorite, fighting over the Baby Jesus in the nativity scene. We were obsessed with the creche my mom put up every Christmas, and although the 3 Wise Men were also points of contention, we knew what the big prize was: the precious, hand-painted Baby Jesus.
You can get the best hand-painted Baby Jesus at Christian Art in the holiday shops:
These are collectibles, made in Spain, and all done by hand. Each one is different, and the linen used is hand-dyed and then painted. The Holy Family is $100 and the 3 Kings are $100. But Christian Art has lovely items at every price range:
The store, full of figurines;
This pretty, mini-creche is $20;
I would have totally fought with my sister over her;
Chose from a wide variety of individual pieces.
Go to Christian Art for the best in creches, and make great holiday memories for your kids.
